Ascend: Spatilizing the Troposphere

With the rising issue of climate change and sea levels, where else can the human kind go but up? But how further above can we actually go? We present our project in a panoramic view by rethinking the future of skyline in a utopian way to challenge the human kind’s capability to adapt to extreme situation, thus influencing the built environment. A floating city that is designed by its residents determine the spatial arrangement as well as the skyline of the city, allowing for the skyline to evolve and grow organically as the city progress. A city that is shaped by its people for its people.
